Slits hit a Dangerous High

Red carpet fashion is acquiring risque proportions with Kendall Jenner flaunting a dress with mile-long double slits that exposed her pelvic bones. Here's looking at some daring ensembles that left everyone gawking.

Rihanna: The thigh high slit on the Barbadian crooner at a pre-Grammy gala barely held the canary yellow robe together. All that leg show left everyone dazzled.

Lady Gaga: The singer known to be extreme with her style statements, did the same with a thigh-revealing high-slit dress that was a breeze away from a malfunction!

Megan Fox: The wine-red off shoulder dress is a perfect example of how a dangerous slit can make a dress look elegant and hot at the same time.

Transformers: Age of Extinction becomes first film of 2014 to earn $1 billion

'
Transformers: Age of Extinction' becomes first film of 2014 to earn around 1 billion dollars.
The Paramount title was now all but assured of becoming a billion-dollar baby by the end of its run, as it crossed over the 800 million dollars mark globally in its fourth weekend, the Hollywood Reporter reported.
Beginning its post-World Cup assault, sequel 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' almost beat 'Transformers: Age of Extinction' to win the global weekend race with 97 million dollars for an early global cume of 242 million dollars.
Age of Extinction opened to huge numbers in soccer-crazed markets where moviegoers were previously distracted by the now-completed World Cup, including Brazil, where it earned 16.5 million dollars. And in Germany, winner of the soccer championship, the movie launched to 11.2 million dollars, the biggest start of the year so far.
China continues to make Age of Extinction the No. 1 film of all time and film's biggest market, with massive earn of 285.7 million dollars. However, two new Chinese movies, 'Tiny Times 3.0' and 'The House That Never Dies', beat it over the weekend, grossing 30 million dollars and 21 million dollars, respectively, compared to 9.6 million dollars for Age of Extinction.

Ashton Kutcher sells Bachelor pad for $9.9 mn

Actor Ashton Kutcher, who is soon going to be a father, has sold his bachelor pad here for $9.9 million. The fiance of actress Mila Kunis, has sold his plush property after listing it a few months ago for $12 million, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

The mansion, which was built in 2006, boasts stunning views of the Hollywood Reservoir and the iconic Hollywood sign, as well as half an acre of private land.

The three-storey house has five bedrooms, eight bathrooms and an elevator to move between floors.

Kunis also recently listed her Mediterranean-style house for $3,995,000.

Rita Ora fancies Justin Bieber

Singer Rita Ora says she fancies pop star Justin Bieber and likes the way he has evolved.

The 23-year-old says she likes how Bieber - who was blamed for triggering the end of her relationship with Calvin Harris after they reportedly became "affectionate" in the studio - has "evolved" into a man since shooting to fame, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

When asked by TV presenter Miquita Oliver on 4Music show "Rock the Look with Rimmel London" if she fancies the 20-year-old pop star, she replied: "Who doesn't?"

She then added: "I like how he's evolved, he's growing up, he's doing his thing. I like his stance and how he carries himself."

The Giver

Released in the United States on August 15, 2014.

Story: Jonas (Thwaite) lives in a utopian society that celebrates conformity and uniformity to preserve peace. He is chosen to be the next 'Receiver of Memory' and learn about the primal feelings of the past world. The more he learns, the more he realizes how fake his carefully engineered society is.

Review: A squeaky-clean city is portrayed in flat monochrome (a visual metaphor for a society controlled by a rigid code of rules, where individualism and the questioning of authority are discouraged) and is perched on a hilltop and surrounded entirely by clouds.

Its inhabitants dress more or less the same, aren't allowed to hold hands in public and they eat food that looks like it was cooked by a robot. Narrator and protagonist Jonas has a mom (Holmes) who repeatedly tut-tuts him, his dad (Skarsgard) and little sister when they say the 'wrong' things because in their perfect world, their entire lexicon is monitored by the seemingly benevolent Chief Elder (Streep). Emotions are excised from daily life and townsfolk are even told what time to go to sleep.

All of this is done because it is believed a machine-like existence will keep mankind's ills (wars, famine, deforestation, etc.) away from them. The Elder assigns people job roles in the manner of an assembly line sorting products. After Jonas is given his important role, the Receiver (Bridges, suitably grizzled) has to pass on these memories to Jonas.

Jonas is established as free-thinking, curious and even rebellious, and so the idea of giving insightful and revelatory thoughts to someone who has the potential to upset the carefully constructed order of things seems puzzling and even illogical.

Despite the impressive cast (Taylor Swift has a cameo), performances are uneven. Bridges and Streep stand out but the others are somewhat unconvincing. Conceptually, there are also bits reminiscent of *The Matrix* some Orwellian Big Brother ideology and dashes of *Divergent* in an overall attempt to convey the film's core message - do we sacrifice pain and pleasure in the quest to attain a 'perfect' existence?

New Wonder Woman Costume

(CNN) -- DC Comics' Wonder Woman has gotten a makeover.
For the character's big-screen debut in Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," the familiar red, blue and gold costume has been traded in for a bronzed ensemble with matching thigh-high boots.
The new look was unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, with director Snyder sharing the first photo of actress Gal Gadot as the Amazon princess.

Other fans have been vocally disappointed, dismissing the costume as too "Xena: Warrior Princess" and the actress as too petite to portray the fierce fighter Diana Prince.

*cries* I just saw the new Wonder Woman costume reveal. What the heck? They butchered it              .— Gilletta (@Gilletta_JT) July 28

"Not impressed," said one commenter on DC Comics' Facebook page. "Colors are too muted. Nothing about this says Wonder Woman."

"Where is the powerful, strong Wonder Woman we all love?" asked another fan on Facebook. "She looks way too small."

Lynda Carter, who played Wonder Woman on TV in the '70s, hasn't voiced her opinion on the new costume -- but she did ask her fans to weigh in. (The verdict? "She's no Lynda!")

Gadot hasn't been the only "Batman v Superman" star to suffer critics. Her co-star Ben Affleck had the lion's share when he was brought on to play Batman.

That criticism didn't stem the excitement at Comic-Con on Saturday when Affleck arrived at the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" panel along with Gadot and Henry Cavill, who plays Superman. Although "Batman v Superman" is still in production, those present did get a taste of what's to come.

Also starring Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons as Alfred, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will open March 25, 2016.

Batman v Superman: Meet your new Aquaman

The casting of 2016's "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" has been one of the most talked-about topics in Hollywood for well over a year now. Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman in the sequel to "Man of Steel."

(CNN) -- The speculation appears to be over about yet another costumed hero set to join Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and the rest in 2016's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

Not only will Gal Gadot play Wonder Woman and Ray Fisher portray Cyborg, but now Jason Momoa ("Game of Thrones," "Conan the Barbarian") has been cast to play that crusader of the seas, Aquaman, according to Variety.

Warner Bros. Pictures is so confident that Aquaman will be a hit with audiences that they've already got an "Aquaman" movie in the works, Variety also reports.
In an unusual move, two writers -- Kurt Johnstad and Will Beall -- will each try their hand at separate "Aquaman" scripts.

The "Aquaman" movie is undoubtedly one of the nine movies based on DC Comics characters that Warner Bros. plans to release through 2020. (DC and Warner Bros. Pictures are owned by Time Warner, which owns CNN.)

As yet unknown is whether Momoa will don the famous orange and green costume (but don't bet on it, since we saw "Batman v. Superman's" new take on the Wonder Woman costume).

6 Super Ways To Make Sex Breathtaking

Supermodel Heidi Klum, actress Eva Longoria, singer-actress Nicole Kidman and many others have gone on record saying that they like to bring out their kinky side in the bedroom.

Couples who have experienced their 'fetish' for such fantasies swear by its pleasure. Whether you want to be the wild cat and use the belt to control your partner or use sex toys to spunk up your game of love, kinky sex is a great way to add spice to your sex life. Klum had once said, "There's nothing wrong with using a nice garter belt." While she loves to rule, Longoria prefers to be submissive. She admits that she loves being tied up with silk scarves during lovemaking. She likes a man to take charge. Each one of us has a deep desire to be ruled or to rule. Kinky sex gives you the opportunity to turn those dreams into reality.

Tie me down
Imagine lying down on your bed waiting for your partner. Suddenly your hands are handcuffed and you get blindfolded. You have no idea what's happening when your partner whispers in your ear, 'Honey, submit yourself.' He caresses you and takes you on a journey where all your desires seem to be fulfilled. Imagine! You are bound to reach the ultimate point of satisfaction.

Role play
When you are bored with your routine sex life and love making becomes 'just another task, try making it fun (instead of faking that headache). Role-playing is a must-try for those who wish to fulfill their sexual fantasies. Think of some interesting scenarios and don some exciting costumes and let your imagination guide you. Dress up like a maid, or a teenager, or try more mature roles like MILF or a teacher seducing a student. Guys could enact the role of a cow boy, or a cabana boy.

Deliciously unexpected
Kinky sex is all about 'revealing' your wild side. If you are mild and sober in your real life, be the king of the fantasy world. Dominate the bedroom moves. Spank your partner or do smut talking - the shock your partner will get to see this side of you will get things in the right gear.

Sex toys
While many use them to satisfy themselves when their partner is away, you can try them when your partner is with you. The reason? Multiple orgasms. Dildos, vibrators, Wen ba balls are some toys you could try to kick-start a heated sexual frenzy.

Dance, baby, dance
A seductive dance is all it takes to woo your partner. Guys could try the American Pie dance (at your own risk) and girls could do the sexy pole dance. Play her favourite song in the background and do a close dance. Slowly touch her and feel her and you are all set for a hot and sexy night.

Spank her tight
Spank her, bite him, hit him, pull her hair, do what you like to make it a passionate sexual encounter.

These are just a few ways to make your sex life pleasurable. Bring out the sexy, naughty, bitchy you for a more fanatical sex.

Caught While Having Sex?

When was the last time your boss walked in while you were all heated down under? Got scathing comments from your dad about your last night mushy talks with your beloved?

Or a curious auntyji caught you crossing limits under the staircase? Admit it, for it's something that's bound to happen. All of us have faced embarrassing sex moments that we would ideally like to forget.

"Don't fret about imperfect moments in your sex life; just rejoice and hold your lover tight. Your ability to deal with embarrassing situations reflects the strength of your relationship. Real understanding is about being able to feel at ease with each other in awkward circumstances as well. Emotional presence and trust is the biggest aphrodisiac and the thrill can last a lifetime," explains Renu Rai, a psychatrist.

We bring you a list of the most awkward sexual encounters and the ways you can avoid being caught...

Your mom cancels her trip and comes back home: Ravi Sharma, a student, shares his experience, "My ex and I had planned for a steamy night once my parents left for an official trip abroad for three days. I wanted to make her feel special. My parent's bedroom was the spacious one, so I lit it up with candles and scented oils to create the perfect ambience for sex. In the attached bathroom, I prepared for a hot bubble bath together. The afternoon my parents left, my ex and I were in an over-the-session. We were busy in the bathroom when my mom and my aunt walked in on us in a compromising position. We were caught in an embarrassing embrace. My ex ran out with whatever clothes she could find, but post the episode my parents did not speak to me for four months."

Expert talk: Pschologist, Poornima Sahni advises, "It's natural for young lovers to indulge in such activities in the heat of the moment. However, if you are caught, it is difficult to get over the shock. What is important is to keep in mind that when you are caught by your parents, they experience the same kind of disillusionment as you. So it is important to talk it out with your family in a free and frank manner. Initially there would be a lot of anger, but your persistence would pay off after sometime."

Dad overhears your phone sex: Sandhya Singh, a call centre executive, speaks about the time when she was caught getting hot and dirty over the phone by her father. "I thought everyone at my home was asleep. So when my boyfriend called, I started talking to him and we were actually being quite explicit. Unfortunately my dad chose that moment to get up for a drink of water. And I never realised that he was overhearing our candid conversation, until he made some sound to alert me about his presence. I just wanted to die that very moment."

Expert talk: According to Sahni, phone sex isn't a good idea. "Having phone sex can be quite thrilling, but you are making yourself vulnerable to a lot of things. It's not just about your parents, but about your dignity. The guy/girl you are talking to may just record the conversation and circulate it amongst their peers. So in that case it's just not about you, but also about your family. And most likely your parents are bothered about that more. So, its best to use a little thought before doing these things."

Your sister catches you in the act: Sakshi Shekhar, a management student reveals," Once I had called my boyfriend when my parents were out. My elder sister was sleeping in the next room. I assumed I had latched her door from outside, but due to some discrepancy on my part she caught us mid act, with my boyfriend literally on top. She immediately left and we ended being the worst enemies at that time for she kept on blackmailing me with it. She would threaten me that she would pass on this information to our parents and I had to do everything she said."

Expert talk: Pschologist Dr Akash Makhija explains, "Siblings can be quite tortuous at times. If you ever get caught by your sibling, the best thing to do is to go up and confide everything to him/her. Siblings can become the greatest confidantes. Apologise and accept that it was a mistake. They will counsel you about it, keep a tab on your activities, but at the end of the day, they can end up becoming your best friend. And you never know, they might be saving you from some disastrous relationship."

Your best friend's brother sneaks on you: "Me and my friend had just watched a porn film and I was desperate to visit the loo. I was just too excited and forgot to shut the door behind me. Moreover, I just thought that my friend's younger brother must be sleeping. Only to find him watching me suspiciously when I was trying to ease masturbate. And what's more, he was actually recording all that on his cell. I got so nervous thinking it would be up on the net in no time. I had to bribe that kid so much to push him to delete that clip," shares Prateek Sen, a medical student.

Expert talk: "When at a friend's place, always remember to be careful of the members in the house. Also, you could be a bad influence on kids if they watch these sexually explicit acts. It's best not to have such outings at anyone's place lest you run into a situation like this. Even if you are sneaked upon, act naturally, like it's a normal phenomenon, especially when kids are around. And if they insist on being naughty, you know you can always threaten them. However, never be harsh with children as it could lead to worse situations," suggests Makhija.

Your strip video has been seen by your boyfriend's parents: Ananya Rao, a chartered accountant, recalls, "My ex had this video of me stripping in his cell. I blindly trusted him at that time, so I never bothered to make him delete it. One day, he accidentally gave his mobile to his dad who scrolled through and saw my naughty show. Initially, I didn't know what had happened, but when my ex informed me about the same, I was burning with shame. Till date, I avoid him and don't think I would ever be able to face him."

Expert talk: "Firstly, videos should never be made on the cell. The thrill won't last long and this act is definitely much skewed. However, if such things occur, the first thing to do is to confess to either of your parents. Children think that parents never understand their dilemma. But it is important to understand that they are the ones who can pull you through drastic situations. They might be angry, disappointed and dejected initially, but they will prove out to be your biggest support," explains Sahni.

Your boss walks into your misadventures: "I was having a fleeting affair with my boss's girlfriend. Actually it was she who initiated the fling and we were in the act right on my boss's table. He supposedly had been sent to another office in the city for that day. And we were having a ball right when I saw him banging his cabin door. I managed to cover up myself, but his girlfriend was in quite a state. He saw us in a compromising position and needless to say, I was fired the next day," says Rajiv Choudhary, sales executive.

Expert talk: Makhija suggests, "The boss's lover is a complete no-no. And even if you want to have some thrills at the cost of your boss, then this isn't the way to gratification. Not only does it completely ruin your reputation, the organisation's reputation is also at stake. If you want to have a fling with your boss's girlfriend, do it away from the office vicinity. Yet it's a too much risk and one should avoid falling into such traps."

Can't do away with peeping toms: Rohit Raj, an ad professional, talks about an episode when his neighbours decided to peep into his house. He says, "I was newly married then and was living with my wife. One day, we were having sex, when one of our neighbours walked in from the next door. And the next thing we know was that there were a number of eyes trying to peep into our room from their balconies. It wasn't just plain irritating, but every time we passed them by, there were a lot of snide smiles and whispers followed by loose talk. We soon relocated to another house."

Expert talk: "It is a norm that people today are more interested in what's going on in the lives of others. Not just that, but when they get something to talk about, it makes for some interesting gossip," says Sahni. She further suggests, "You need to take utmost care while deciding on a house. Try to know the neighbourhood and maintain friendly terms with your neighbours. If you find people who go out of their way to create trouble for you, issue a formal complaint against them. You can threaten them with police action too."

When your experiments go bust: "I was cozying-up with my girlfriend at a friend's wedding. There were a lot of people in the room but since we were under the same blanket, it wasn't too much of a problem until in our excitement; we slipped and fell on the aunty sleeping on the floor. And she caught us almost undressed," says Aman Mishra, a freelance writer.

Expert talk: Makhija explains, "Such things happen and all one can do is laugh about them. Ofcourse you can't laugh it away right then, but it's best not to take it seriously. If the situation gets too grave to handle, then all you can do is let things be as they are and allow them to fall into place gradually. However do take care that you don't repeat such careless acts ever again in your life."

7 Things You Shouldn't Tell Your Husband

Here's what you should never utter about that ex of yours to your partner if you want a smooth relationship.

Confessions are good, but not always. To stay in a happy relationship we suggest some things left untold to your present. Trust us, what they don't know, won't hurt them. At least you'll be spared of your current popping up those memories when you two have a fight.

OH! the sex was great
On the backseat of the car, in the elevator, on the balcony, on the bean bag, and wherever else you might have done it! Be you careful, lady, before spilling those beans to your man. Bragging about your past sex life is so not done because we're sure your guy would be scarred listening to your sexcapades. So keep those details at bay from your current flame lest you may get in trouble. Also, even if your partner is fine listening to those sex-tales but has never experienced even a wee of that, you'll surely be at the receiving end of a whole lot of cribbing.

He called, we talked, it was nice
Your ex is back in town, or is starting up a new project, or is kicked about his newly joined swimming classes. We know your partner surely has zilch interest in those details. Keep it for yourself, also, maybe for your gal-pals (they'll love listening that goss.)

Gosh, he once told me the same thing
In romance, it's mostly tried and tested, but nothing like making your partner believe 'wow! that's new'. So if you've heard the exact same thing from both your current and your ex, don't you jump up with glee saying, 'This must be true coz I've heard the exact same thing from my ex!'

I cheated when with him
Your ex was 'drab', true to every letter in the word 'drab'. And you cheated on him with his best friend or with any other man. We warn you, don't let out that detail to the current love of your life. Listening to your past cheating experience, he might just hire a spy on you, so he be cautious.

That was special
We know most romantic encounters are special. But it's okay if you conceal that bit from your current. Nothing will get him more jealous or upset than you telling him, "Well! That was special."

And we've won the best couple award
Everytime you got clicked with your ex beside, people would go 'Aww'. Cute, yes! We don't deny you might have been the best couple in town seeing whom other couples would turn green with envy. But maybe you'd want your partner to believe otherwise. Just so he has no complex and stays happy.

FORMER BEAUTY QUEEN'S MURDER MYSTERY RESOLVED!

Bronwynne Richardson was crowned Miss Corowa in 1973 and raped and murdered in Albury the same year! After almost 40 years, the accused, Colin Michael Newey, who allegedly abducted, raped and killed a teenager at Albury more than 40 years ago has been arrested in one of the state's oldest unsolved homicide cases.

Police alleges that, on October 12, 1973, the accused dragged Ms Richardson into a car on Smollett Street, Albury, a regional town on the flats of the Murray River. It was a Friday evening when the beauty queen was driven to a reserve, about six kilometres out of the town. It was there that she was allegedly assaulted in the dark before she was strangled and thrown into the Murray River. Her body was found in Horseshoe Lagoon, off the river, two days later.

Though the pain cannot be calmed down but Bronwynne's parents, Noelle and Stan Richardson, are a little relieved at the news that the accused has finally been arrested over their daughter's death.

In 1975, a coronial inquest found that Bronwynne died of strangulation and drowning. A new investigation was launched in 1990 after new evidence was found and three men were charged but were never convicted. Detectives refused to give up on the case and, in 2008, the newly formed Southern Region Unsolved Homicide Team set up a new investigation under a strike force called Kulaman. Five years later detectives arrested the accused in his home town of Murray Bridge, about 75 kilometres from Adelaide in South Australia. He was taken to the local police station and charged by virtue of a NSW arrest warrant.

Top 5 Big Lies About Marriage

Marriage is often seen as fix-all - dreamy singles think it will make them happy, restless men and women think it will make them feel complete. We take apart the five most popular cons that mar marriage.
I won't be lonely
Being lonely or having company has nothing to do with getting married. Many loners remain so even after marriage. A long-suffering woman shared her woes, she said that though she was married, she was always lonely. "I never felt that we shared anything. When I spoke, he heard but never listened. On holidays, I never felt that we were together." Those who are lonely and feel that marriage will be a solution, need to analyse and identify what they are feeling.
Anytime sex
Sexual desire and frequency is dependent on libido, compatibility and the acceptance of the word 'sex' among both partners. Many partners, who have a deep-seated resentment for each other and are constantly bickering, are not having enough sex. Maybe one of them thought that marriage would satisfy their sexual desires, but that didn't happen, and so, the blame-game continues in other spheres of life.
I won't work
This is quite an unrealistic thought, as increasingly, more couples realise that marriage does not mean financial security. Especially women realise that the lifestyle and aspirations one has calls for both spouses to generate income. Financial security is rare if you are not taking care of it yourself; there is no escape route. And if you have not discussed this with your partner, he or she may feel resentful of being considered a meal ticket.
Big happy family
Most of us are conditioned to win over the love and affection of the in-laws. We bend over backwards, expect to be loved immediately and are baffled when the feeling is not reciprocated. The biological imperative of birthing gives rise to a lot of unconditional love and acceptance which is hormonally absent in in-laws. So it is advised to give respect, love and attention, but don't expect much.
Kids can fix it all
Couples feel that unhappiness in a marriage will be sorted by parenthood. This is another misconception because if there is incompatibility, a child would actually come into an unwelcoming environment and may even be resented. Parenthood should be a well-thought out decision considering aspects such as - Are we ready? Do both of us want children? Do we have all the help we need? Do we agree on core values?

Sweat Charging with Bio Batteries

LONDON: You may soon be able to charge your phone with your sweat.

For the first time ever, scientists have found away to make human sweat power your small electronic devices.

Researchers have designed a sensor in the form of a temporary tattoo that can both monitor a person's progress during exercise and produce power from their perspiration.

The device works by detecting and responding to lactate, which is naturally present in sweat.

Scientists have created a sweat-powered bio battery. Batteries produce energy by passing current, in the form of electrons, from an anode to a cathode.

In this case, the anode contained the enzyme that removes electrons from lactate, and the cathode contained a molecule that accepts the electrons.

When 15 volunteers wore the tattoo bio batteries while exercising on a stationary bike, they produced different amounts of power.

Interestingly, people who were less fit (exercising fewer than once a week) produced more power than those who were moderately fit (exercising one to three times per week).

Enthusiasts who worked out more than three times per week produced the least amount of power.

The researchers say that this is probably because the less-fit people became fatigued sooner, causing glycolysis to kick in earlier, forming more lactate.

The maximum amount of energy produced by a person in the low-fitness group was 70 microWatts per cm2 of skin.

Wenzhao Jia from University of California San Diego said: "The current produced is not that high, but we are working on enhancing it so that eventually we could power some small electronic devices. Right now, we can get a maximum of 70 microWatts per cm2, but our electrodes are only 2 by 3 millimeters in size and generate about 4 microWatts — a bit small to generate enough power to run a watch, for example, which requires at least 10 microWatts. So besides working to get higher power, we also need to leverage electronics to store the generated current and make it sufficient for these requirements.''

"Lactate is a very important indicator of how you are doing during exercise," says Jia.

In general, the more intense the exercise, the more lactate the body produces. During strenuous physical activity, the body needs to generate more energy, so it activates a process called glycolysis. Glycolysis produces energy and lactate, the latter of which scientists can detect in the blood.

Professional athletes monitor their lactate levels during performance testing as a way to evaluate their fitness and training program. In addition, doctors measure lactate during exercise testing of patients for conditions marked by abnormally high lactate levels, such as heart or lung disease. Currently, lactate testing is inconvenient and intrusive because blood samples must be collected from the person at different times during the exercise regime and then analyzed.

Jia therefore have developed a faster, easier and more comfortable way to measure lactate during exercise. They imprinted a flexible lactate sensor onto temporary tattoo paper. The sensor contained an enzyme that strips electrons from lactate, generating a weak electrical current. The researchers applied the tattoo to the upper arms of 10 healthy volunteers. Then the team measured the electrical current produced as the volunteers exercised at increasing resistance levels on a stationary bicycle for 30 minutes. In this way, they could continuously monitor sweat lactate levels over time and with changes in exercise intensity.

Biobatteries offer certain advantages over conventional batteries: They recharge more quickly, use renewable energy sources (in this case, sweat), and are safer because they do not explode or leak toxic chemicals.
